BRAVE Domestic Violence Center (a DAEOC facility)

Comprehensive shelter services are provided to those women and children who are fleeing domestic violence situations.
Our services are available 24-hours-a-day, seven days a week are available for the Missouri counties of Dunklin, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot, Scott and Stoddard.

Services include referrals, 24-hour emergency shelter, victim and court advocacy, and crisis intervention.

Services Provided: Provides homeless shelter for only women and childeren who are victims of domestic violence for up to 2 weeks. Also offers legal advocacy, group and individual counseling and referrals.

American Red Cross

Services Provided: Provides emergency relief for natural disasters for all clients who qualify for service. Fire assistance provided for qualifying clients up to a week post-disaster. In the event that a disaster shelter is needed, the American Red Cross will work with local entities to provide emergency relief.
